They are made with a solid 4mm solid birchwood top on a 19mm MDF base with a total thickness of 23cm. The surface is sanded smooth and unprimed. These wooden boards wont flex or stretch when your media is applied. Use them in their natural state or prime them with an acrylic gesso, to add more tooth to the surface for
